Total bliss

I have so many projects I want to share.  But this weekend was all about family time!  So I neglected my blog a little.  Megan had a figure skating competition and this is only her second competition this year so she needed my full attention. If you know a little about skating, she competed Pre-Juvenile level and finished in 2nd place.  So it was a silver metal for her.  It not about the medals, it's to compete against yourself to better what you did the last, to strive to the next level and achieve confidence in yourself.  She has lot's of friends at skating and the teenage girls take care of the little ones and I truly appreciate that.  I compare myself to Megan as we are devoted to our passions.  She loves skating as much as I love representing Stampin'up!  We poor our heart and soul in our passions.

Here is my lovely card.  I was suppose to move on to another stamp set this week but still had to share about the Sale-a-bration bliss set once again.

Is it scrapbooking or a card?

Yesterday, I said I was going to share my wow project from my terrific workshop with Lysanne.  Love this project because it is pleasing for cardmakers and scrapbookers.  I will have lot's of pictures to share about this project because it's in steps.  Hope you enjoy it.

I also have a few more albums to share and a video on how to make these.  Click HERE

As you remove the belly band this is what you would see:

When it is completely open, you can add a few pictures and add card stock to put your greeting inside and send this project to someone special.  I love using the spritzer tool with the bliss sale-a-bration stamp sets.

How do you use the spritzer tool #107066?

You insert the larger tip of a stampin'write marker and you would squeeze the large end of the spritzer to create air. The air will then make the ink from the stampin'write cover the card stock with tiny dots of ink on your card stock.  It is beautiful and vintage.  Love love love the spritzer.  If you like vintage YOU need a spritzer.  The closer you apply your marker, the more intense the specs will be.

Actually, this has become my book "bragger" of the girls.  I carry it in my leadership purse.

My 3D swap from Leadership

Published by under 3D,leadership 2011

I received so many emails inquiring instructions for this fabulous mini purse that I made for my 3D swaps at leadership.  It was one of my client, Sylvie, merci Sylvie!  that brought me this cute purse.  Well she forward me the link and it is on splitcoaststampers but it was originally from Toni Sacrison . She called it the Mini Note purse.  So here are her fabulous instructions.  You have got to make a few in different stampin up! designer series paper.  I think I gave more out then swap them for 3D items:)  It was fun to see the demonstrators faces when I showed them how cute they were.

Here is when it's open

Enjoy making these.  They are so cute.

Come join me tomorrow as I start showing you the wonderful things you can do with the  FREE Sale-A-Bration stamp set.  The sale starts tomorrow and I will show you my first favorite set.

Leadership Make & Take #5

Although I didn't accomplish my entire list of things to do yesterday, today was another productive day.  I am so embarrassed to say that WE STILL HAD OUR CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS UP!  Is anyone else in the cyber word in the same position as I am?  So embarrassed!  I never remove them before January 1st because it saddens me too much.  The house is so warm and inviting with our Christmas decorations and January is so cold here, in Canada.  So I try to keep them a little longer to keep the warmth inside.

Then I got busy with leadership preparations, and didn't remove them.  This week was also busy and I hosted my first sale-a-bration workshop.  So today, my dear husband helped me and we got them down.  Although the house feels a little empty, I'll try to find and make a few decorations for valentine's day.

Today, I'll be sharing Make & Take #5 and tomorrow the last make & take + the bonus my digital studio card we received from our MDS class at leadership.  It was hosted by Sara Douglass.  I have been using the program lots, but this class was refreshing and I learned two new things that I can implement in the future.  I wish that class was a little longer.  If you have mds do not forget to update your downloads.  Also, during sale-a-bration starting the January 25th, if you order for 60$, you get to receive free downloads!!!

Leadership Make & Take #4

Published by under leadership 2011,make& takes

What a fabulous, productive day!  Although I didn't do everything that was on my list, I had a great day!  It started by a great phone call with a new demonstrator on my team.  Janet from Toronto, she is one of my long distance demonstrators.  We had a great talk on starting this new chapter in the Stampin up family.  Even if we never met, I felt like I have known her for years, as we chatted.  Our conversation reminded me, why I love being a demonstrator so much = new friendships:)

Then I welcomed two new demonstrators on my team, they are excited and ready to start stamping and sharing the love of stamping with their friends.  Welcome Marlene and Lucinda!
