Getting ready to say farewell

Sale-a-bration sale is almost over!  4 Days left.  I admit I used the Sale-a-bration stamp set Bliss or in french Joie, again and again.  It was my #1 favorite.  Had a workshop this morning, and this is one of the cards we made.  I did add a little preview from the next 2011-2012 Catalog, the four frames stamp set.  Also, there is only 1 month left for the Occasions mini, and we don't know if any of these products are coming back, most of them likely not!  So I have highlighting them, like the Rosettes!  One of my workshop attendees, Carmen said to me today that I should have been born in those "vintage"days.  She said she always can recall when it's a "Kim Card".  What is your style?  Tell me what do you like?  I think it will be one of my questions next month with my Downline.  I have used two backgrounds stamp set for this card.  Can you guess which ones they are?  I have a new favorite… Wonderfully Worn.  It creates these dots just like the spritzer tool 🙂

Here is a close up of the specs from the Wonderfully Worn Background.  Add this one on your wish list it's a must!

I also have been creating and prepping for our second Creative Escape Weekend and the projects are fabulous.  The sad part is that I cannot share with you until it's over.  But I designed 4 wowser scrapbook pages for attendees.  Also have created  a circle scrapbook in a box, a delicious &  rich color canvas, cupcake treats, fabric galore projects…  I can't wait to share with you after the retreat.

Products used:

Super Woman, I am

Do you ever feel like you are super woman?  I sometimes think I am.  Although we were gone for a week on a family vacation, the first moment I stepped into my home, vacation was over!  The phone started ringing and I was the designated taxi driver.  It's like an alarm went on, kids are back, kids are back then 10 friends called.  I am truly blessed that the girls have such great friends but I do remember that my parents would not drive me around at such a young age.  I use to stay in the country and play with my cousins, or go to my grandfather's family farm and play with the animals…We did not go as often to the big city!

These past few days I needed to take out my super cape!  Why did I need my super cape?  Well I learned a huge lesson.  Never, never pack too many clothes for a trip and think "the unworn clothes, we will leave in a separate luggage and just put them back in the drawers."  It doesn't work that way, you still got to wash it all!  I need to post that my super husband did lots of laundry and groceries on Sunday while I was gone to help a new sale-a-bration recruit with her first workshop!  By the way not much time left to purchase the starter kit at 15% off and get that bonus 60$ gift. (7 days only)Think of all the money you spend eating at the restaurant during the week or the times you stop at a coffee shop.  You can afford this awesome deal and at a great price!  More than 375$ of products for $182.75, no taxes, no shipping! I would love to have you part of my team:)

We are also busy preparing for end of year activities.  Lauren and Jordan have taken hip hop since September and the show is in April, so yesterday was picture day.  Megan's figure skating show is this weekend.  Which means we do not get anymore ice time in our town and Megan will start traveling to the big city for ice time!

Last weekend was my team meeting, the Cupcake Cuties.  One of the projects was a simple, easy scrapbook page.  It matches the projects that I showed in the last few days.  I love to coordinate projects.  Scrapbooking has been a great part of my stamping business and one of the main reasons I joined stampin up.  I will add a title to this page, I am looking for the perfect one.

Wow did I share lots today, this is what's been going on in our house in the last couple of days.

Hostess gift #1

Published by under 3D,scrapbooking,Stampin' Up!,workshop

I'm sending some Springtime smiles! It's gorgeous outside, I am so ready for Spring!  Here is a cute project for my hostesses in April.  The best part is that you don't know what's in this adorable box!  I have made a few projects with the new Paisley Petals designer paper and Four Frames stamp set.  If you book a party with me in April, you get to pick out of my baskets one of the numerous projects I have created with the new 2011-2012 sneak peek products.  I have made a few projects and will show you all of them in the next couples of days.  Book your party first and you have first choice.  I am taking calls and emails.  Can't wait to book yours!

By the way, I did go to Zumba class yesterday with my friend Veronique.  It was fun and I have so much energy today.  I am now thinking of heading outside for my first run of the season.  I use to do 6k daily.  Wish me luck!

Hope you are having a wonderful day, hugs:)

Stamping vs Gym

Monday is the day I play in my studio all day:)  I had promised myself that I would focus again on clean eating and exercising.  After all, when I go for a run, that is where I do my best thinking.  BUT it's snowing here and very wet so I decided to head for the studio and create all day:)  + it didn't help that I ran out of batteries for my camera and headed for the corner store and then Nibs candy were calling me. So I went back home and played some more.  I decided to make myself a journal so I can track my exercising and eating habits.  + I created lots more projects with the new paper Paisley petals and Four frames stamp set from the 2011-2012 collection.  It was awesome, I did create a mess on my counter but it was a good decision to pick creating vs the gym.   I will probably go for my run this evening or even go to a Zumba class as my friend Veronique has been trying to get me there for months!

It is so not me to choose green as a journal.  The Paisley petals designer paper has so many coordinating colors:  Cherry Cobbler, Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Marina Mist, Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, River Rock, Soft Suede & Tangerine Tango.  But this color combo was calling me.

I had lots of fun making this personal journal and can't wait to start tracking my progress.  This paper and stamp set will be available for you soon ( there is a fabulous promotion coming your way)  Check back this week to see other awesome projects made with this collection.

I’m back

Yes I did win over my husband. We went to Mexico with the kids.  It was the best family time ever:)  I so needed to stop time and enjoy the kids as they are growing way too fast.  No snow for a week was lots of fun.  Walking in my flip flops was the best.  The girls did ask Tony if we could stay longer, sadly the answer was no:(

I was so honored to be nominated as a stylish blogger award by so many of you and will past it on to my favorite blogs before the weekend, I promise!  Mostly, I was honored to be selected from Shelli Gardner as a winner for her Sale-a-bration creative challenge🙂  When I arrived home from Mexico, I received the best welcome home email!  Shelli chose my project, thanks Shelli, these challenges keeps us inspired.  I promise to share by the end of the day.  So much to do, I am rested and pumped and ready to create!

Hugs,

classroom ready to go

This is the second last post about me getting organized in my stamp studio.  This area is where my customers and their guests, demonstrators in my team (downline) stamp and create.  This picture represents what the stamping area looks like after a small class.  When my classes are bigger, I open up the tables to create a larger stamp area.  Last year, I placed on the wall, magnetic boards to post cards and scrapbook pages.

I love to display my definitely decorative pieces.  This tray I created with the Manhattan flowers.  They come in an assortment of colors and sizes.  We recently added definitely decorative pieces in the 3 girls rooms.  I’ll have to take pictures to show you, they are so excited.

Hope you are having a wonderful day, regular stamping starting Friday, as we are in Mexico with the kids this week:)

Time flies…

Yes I made it through the lady Gaga concert.  I only have two comments: 1) good thing we didn't bring any children 2) it was interesting and different.  I did have an awesome time with my girlfriends, dinner was great and our drive in the chocolate chip limo was perfect.

This week got me thinking that time flies. I was walking with Jordan and our dog Maya to the mailbox (we have an extremely long driveway) and we had a grown up conversation.  I realized that in exactly 4 months, she will be 6 years old, yes 6, my baby:(

Exactly 1 year ago today, Shelli and Sara were in my house for my workshop of a lifetime.  It got me reflecting of my stampin'business and how it makes me smile everyday + how I have grown from a hobby demo to a business demonstrator this past year!

I believe that sometimes, it's good to stop time and reflect on goals and dreams:)  Jordan and I shared dreams.

Here is a page from one of my classes.  She was just a baby then, only 9 months old.  If you would like to attend one of my scrapbook classes why not try coming on March 22nd.  See my classes for details.

This pages uses the bliss stamp set from the sale-a-bration mini.  You get this set free with a 60$ order.  Also I highlighted my title BLISS with a beveled windowpane from the occasion mini #121881.  These come in 3 sizes and there is 12 in a package.
