Another fabulous trip

As I am sitting at the airport in Seattle, I am thinking about all the wonderful memories from this Stampin'up! incentive trip.  How fun to get an all expenses paid trip x 2.  I did fall in love with Seattle and Victoria but the best part was to catch up with my sweetie!  Alaska was great also, the view exceptional.  Our excursions too.

Here is a view from the ship at Tracy Arm Fjord

To a helicopter tour on the glaciers in Juneau

Train ride up the Glaciers in Skagway

A visit to Beautiful Victoria BC, I really enjoyed my tour and dinner in a basket at Butchart Gardens.

Once again Stampin'up! was able to surprise me!  I almost fell off my chair when they decided to give us the new Stampinup 2011-2012 Catalog.  We got lots of products from the new catty, our make and takes were from the new catty too.  What a treat.  If you are a demonstrator you will get to see it in June and if you are a customer in July.  I will be able to show the projects on June 1st so stay tuned.

If you would like to take advantage of the benefits as a demonstrator click here.

Falling in love with Seattle

It's been great, we decided to head to Seattle one day earlier.  Seattle is beautiful, as I sat outside x 1 hour while Tony was napping.  I enjoyed sipping ice tea and watch the people go by.  I can't remember the last time I did this.  I have to say, I'm in love…Seattle is breathtaking, the fresh market was so fun, from organic foods, to fresh fish and flowers to artsy pieces, it was all so amazing.  People here seem so relax, seeing ladies biking with a cute basket in from of their bikes makes me want to get one of these.  Lot's were walking their dogs, jogging… It seems as there is no stress here.  As I chatted with local people, the weather is out of it's normal pattern.  We just had sunshine and normally it rains.  So nice to sit outside at the park and just enjoy the view.

Here is a picture of our ship.  We left yesterday, and we are at sea today.  As always, Stampin'up! as already spoiled us so so much. I know this photo needs a little photoshop but I was so excited when we went to Pike Place Market and I got to see our ship awaiting.

Now for my journal that I presented at Marlayne's.  Here it is.  Love that I didn't need to add to much.  The Nautical paper was so gorgeous on it's on. These journal are great to add pictures, to add notes, for guest registration.  The spiral punch is a must with the journal, the pages fit perfectly.  By the way I have 3 spots left for my scrapbook day in your pjs.  Email me if you would like to join us.

And we are off…

So like usual, I always have lots of things to do before I go on a trip.  This trip is extremely special because it's the Alaska Stampin'up! Cruise.  I love Stampin'up! events as it keeps me rejuvenated.  And May is a great time just before our 2010-2011 catalog comes to an end.

I only slept a few ours and packed last minute once again.  It wasn't the packing that kept me awake, it's the laundry.  My dad & step mom Karen are staying and sitting the kids at home so they are comfy in their own things.  I wanted laundry to be all done so he wouldn't need to bother.  They plan on enlarging the garden while we are gone.  See it's the first year that we decide to do a real garden.  Tony and the girls planted pumpkins and cucumbers.  But my dad is going to add extra veggies, like onions and tomato plants …. So the girls are really excited and I am reassured that they will have a great time while we are gone on this fabulous trip.  I hope there is internet connection so I can keep you posted.  Right now, I'm sitting at the Vancouver airport awaiting our next flight to Seattle.  There is a 3hrs time difference, so we had breakfast for the second time around!

I wanted to share today my Nautical Banner.  If you love parties or have children, I suggest investing in the Pennant Die.  You can view more matching projects HERE.

Pennant Stampin' Up! Bigz Xl Die #113483
Price: $53.95

You can use the Pennant die to create two sizes of festive pennants from any piece of card stock or Designer Series paper. This design is a Shelli original.

Keep in mind you need your Big shot #113439 and the extended cutting pads #113478.  I truly thing it was a great investment since I don't need to buy a banner for every occasion.

Nautical Party Planner

As I mentioned yesterday, I was the guest speaker at Marlayne Hardy's event.  I focus on the nautical theme and have to say it's a great theme for a birthday party.  What to focus on when getting ready for a party?

1-  the invitations

2-  A guest book

3-  A frame with the guest in honor

4-  A banner (it wouldn't be a party without the banner)

5-  Little cupcake decorations ( love my mini flags)

6-  Thank you cards

This picture might not be too clear, (keep in mind I am trying to work with a new camera)  I think I need a photography class! Keep checking in this week and you will get the tour of my projects!

Ahoy!

It's been a really really long time.  I realized how long of a time when people start emailing me, and asking if I am ok, or have I bumped them off of my list.  Nope!  It's been crazy and I seriously don't know where to start.  Here is a brief update:

– Jordan had a super bad virus that needed my full attention x 4 days and she hasn't been feeling well since.  She has been clinging to my hip most days.

– Then I caught her bug, yes we were the only two sick in the house + I hurt my back, I think it was from running with overly used running shoes.

– My husband has been gone out of town back in forth for the last two weeks

– I hosted two fundraisers:  the first one was for my dear colleague Genevieve who was diagnosed with Cancer.  A few of us from the office are walking for the relay for life in her honor as she fights this deadly disease.  I am happy to say that we have raised $726 at the Stamp and Stomp Fundraiser.  Wohoo!  I still have premade kits if you would like one email me 10$ is going towards our walk on June 3rd.  Kit details HERE. The second one was for one of my customer, Monique, she has a liver disease so we got together with some of her friends and stamped away and at this event we raised $328.75 for the Canadian Liver Foundation. Wohoo!

– I also was asked to be a guest speaker at Marlayne Hardy's event, which I focus on the Nautical products from the summer mini which I can't wait to share.

– I am also honored to be a speaker at the Stampin'up! Convention in Utah.  If you are attending, I can't wait to rock your world with my workshop presentation.

– At this point I am getting ready for the Alaska Cruise, I can't wait!  The only part I hate is leaving Jordan, she is going to be 6 very soon but I know how hard it is for her not to be with mommy at night:(

– So if you have missed me that much you won't want to miss my National Scrapbooking event:  Here are some details, I have a few spots left and a sneak peek.

What is my Spring Fling Stamp-A-Rama Day
