A little project life love…

If you've taken some of my scrapbooking classes, you know how I love to add lots of details to my scrapbook pages… It would take me forever to catch up on all 3 girls's albums.  I took it upon myself to order the project life kit to speed up the process. I'm still going to make lots of very detailed pages but decided to add project life in Jordan's album.  I made a dozen of pages already.  Project life is a simple, affordable system for organizing your photos into albums.  All you need to get started are a few basic products.  Just slip your photos into the photo pocket pages and add cards with our exclusive artwork to easily document the important events in your life.  There are 6 different amazing kits in the catalogue.  You can check them out from p.162 to p.166.  The albums, photo pocket pages and more are on p.167. You need to check it out. I love the journaling pens, they come two in a package with two different widths #135304.

I love the wood banners that comes with the Hello Baby project life accessory pack #138458.  You can view a close up image below:)

I also liked the element sticker sheets in the kit.  You can place them on pictures as well.  I decided to place one on the designer card.

It also includes 4 epoxy stickers sheet…I've added a couple of cute ones on the card below.

This project life kit is from the Hello Baby Girl Project Life Card Collection #138504.  It includes 100 cards, 2 each of 50 double-sided designs in 3 sizes:  3×4, 4×4 and 4×6.  If you would like to make a baby boy album, the Hello Baby Boy project life card collection #138457 is also available.  There is also an additional Hello Baby Project Life Accessory Pack #138458.  It coordinates with either kits and it includes: 4 specialty acetate cards, 3×4; 1 alphabet sticker sheet; 1 acetate sticker sheet; 2 element sticker sheets; 4 epoxy stickers; 3 wood banners; 1 roll washi tape. On page 167 of the Stampin up catalogue, you can choose 6×8 or 12×12 variety packs project life photo pocket pages and they also have the albums.

Helping me grow card, join my card club…

It's the perfect rainy day for stamping.  Sending some happy mail to my online customers and top demonstrators on my team for their hard work… I love creating vintage crafts… I'm no artist and this card was very easy to do.

I still have a couple of spots for my monthly card group. No experience necessary. Email me to join and the good news if you live far away, you can participate in my mailing group.  You can make beautiful cards like these, learn new technique, choose your products and get hostess benefits…

Here is a list of products used to make my helping me grow card:  helping me grow stamp set #140764 ( i'm in love with this stamp set, there are 15 images and it coordinates with the rose garden thinlits die #140619), very vanilla cardstock #101650, dapper denim cardstock #141414, soft sky cardstock #131203, watercolor paper #122959, staz on ink in jet black #101406 (this is the ink you need to use when watercoloring so the ink doesn't bleed when you are applying the ink and water) aqua painter brush #103904 (two per package, one has a medium tip and the other a large tip), dapper denim ink #141394 and soft sky ink #131181 (for the shadow); Accessories include: delicate white doilies #141701, very vanilla 1/2" lace trim #141672, dapper denim 3/8" ruched ribbon #141424 and linen thread #104199. I've also embossed the backgroud of my card with woodgrain embossing folder #127821.

Project life club and other clubs invitation

I've been organizing pictures these past few days. After my divorce and the move, the new house, I couldn't find the time to do so. It's time to sort the girls pictures, send some to the father of my children so he can have additional pictures of the girls as well. I wish I was better organized back then. It would be a much simpler job today… Baby number one, so organized, baby number two so so organized, baby number 3, I stopped printing my pictures… I wish I didn't… So I am making albums for the girls, they can have family pictures to treasure forever, project life is the perfect solution too : fast, cute pages where I can journal all my precious memories and scrapbook. Plus the bonus, it comes in a cute box that you can keep all the extra pieces. Send me a message if you would like to join one of my project life clubs. You can participate in person or via mail.

I'm taking a few more people to participate in my 3 crafting clubs: cards club, scrapbook club and project life scrapbook club. We meet once a month, you can participate in all 3 clubs, if you live too far away from me, you can participate in  my mailing club? what are you waiting for? Let's get your scrapbook memories done and card stack up to date! Email me! It's a fun time out…

Demonstrators and team members are welcome too…

Vellum balloons birthday card

What a gorgeous warm day, hope you are enjoying the sun….If you are following me on instagram, you get to see some of my projects, sometimes ahead of my blog post.  I guess it's easier to post with a phone when you're a working mom on the fly…. If you want to view my projects on Instagram check out my account :  riverfrontstampin

To make this birthday card, I used the vellum cardstock #101856, What's amazing about it is that it's thick enough to use with your favorite punch.  I used the balloon bouquet punch #140609, it coordinates perfectly with the balloon celebration stamp set #140675.  Love this set and the font in the stamped greetings.  I inked with versamark #102283 one of the balloon images then added white embossing powder #109132 and heated the balloons with my heat tool #129053.  A great tip:  If you rub the embossing buddy  #103083 on your punched image prior to stamping with versamark, it will minimize the specks when heating the powder.

Cardstock used for this card:  dapper denim #141414, basic black #121045, whisper white #100730 and vellum cardstock #101856.  Basic black archival ink was used #140931 and dapper denim #141394.    I also made little knots with the thick baker's twine in whisper white #141688.  These knots were glued using mini glue dots #103683.

To order the products to make vellum balloon birthday  card, don't hesitate to contact me or place your order in my online store. If you are ordering online, don't forget the check that box so I can see your details that you ordered so I can make you part of my VIP customers and reward you.  Enjoy your day, HUGS!!!

Thinking of you

I hope you are enjoying your long weekend.  Happy Canada Day!  I've enjoyed playing with this color combo (pool party, basic black and dapper denim)  Blue is my favorite color.  And this color combo seems to have brought some sort of calmness.  Before I give details on my design, I need to cover some important maintenance information:  I've loved your online orders, it's been amazing.  I would like you to note, if you are one of my online shoppers and would like to be recognized and participate in my VIP customer perks, don't forget to select my name as your demonstrator by checking the box or else it will not identify your name as the person ordering. That being, I can't send you any goodies by mail or extra perks to thank my special customers.  This is just a FYI that can give you extra Kimmie goodies:)

I've had an amazing time creating these thinking of you cards.  Love the thinking of you font.  This stamp comes from the hostess set Time of Year #141790.  For every order or party above 200$, you will receive, if selected, this hostess set for only 12$ and it's a value of 21$.  The stamp set comes with 10 other stamps.  You can view full image on my website. Another perk from this set is that it coordinates with the Bunch of banners Framelits die #141488, p.193 in your catalogue.   Contact me to host your workshop, your virtual party or place an order above 200$ and receive 10% stampin rewards.  The higher your order, the more rewards you will receive.

To create this card.  I used the stamp set swirly bird #141749. It's adorable.  It coordinates with the swirly scribbles thinlits dies #141497 on p.194.  If you get the bundle of the stamp set and die #142353, you save an extra 10%. (Suggested clear blocks to use with the Swirly Bird stamp set are A,B,C,G) I also used the dapper denim cardstock #141414, and ink pad #141394 and 3/8 ruched ribbon #141424.  To make this card pop, I added pool party cardstock #122924 and ink #126982, whisper white cardstock #100730, basic black cardstock #121045 and stamped the thinking of you greeting in the basic black archival stampin pad #140931.  And voila!

To order the products to make my thinking of you card, don't hesitate to contact me or place your order in my online store. If you are ordering online. Don't forget the check that box so I can see your details that you ordered so I can make you part of my VIP customers and reward you.  Enjoy your day, HUGS!!!
