For instance, it gives me great pleasure to share this simple card with you today because this card has personal sentiment to me.  A few months ago, I shared with you that a coworker's daughter had lost her baby at birth.  I had made a 20 pages album to give to her with pictures of them together.  You can read about it and view pics HERE.  Well her mother, Cathy was so touched and she decided to add 20 more pages.   These past few weeks have been hard on Jenna not having her sweet daughter Piper.  So I made this card to her and wrote a personal heart felt message.  Although I don't really know Jenna, I really wanted to give back to her and help her ease the pain that she is going through.  I wasn't there when she got the album and card but truly hope it will help ease the pain.

Jenna and I have similar taste, I know she loves pearls and lace.  I wanted to make a card as elegant as her.

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend.  We went apple picking with the girls at Les Vergers Lafrance, St-Joseph du Lac, Quebec, surrounded ourselves with wonderful friends and had dinner with them and the kids.  I managed to go for 2 runs outside, in 26 C degrees in October!  Total bliss!   Weather like this never happens this time of year in Canada!  How wonderful!

Seeing Megan in this picture reminds me of the the apple picking tradition we started when she was not even 1 year old.

My poor sweet husband, he did a major workout on this trip as no ladders were found.  Lauren sure enjoyed being in Daddy's arms.

And Jordan, she did more apple eating than picking.

Today I dedicate my card to all the people who lost a family member, friend and the fire fighters, police officers and response teams in the 9/11 tragedy.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

The ribbon of hope is a great stamp #115552 because it is THE awareness ribbon as we can use our stampin up ink and change it to the cause that is dear to us.  Today I chose purple (rich razzleberry) it represents the victims of 9/11 including the police officers and fire fighters.

I love the crisp image of the flower in the Creative Elements stamp set.  This is a must stamp set that you need to add to your wish list.  Also good scissors are needed to cut the flowers out and Stampin'up!
