Creative Escape Sneak Peek #3

It's been a great productive week.  The more I create, more ideas keep flowing.  I love it.  Our Creative Escape retreat is in exactly two weeks.  I have accomplished lots and still have more to do.  I can't wait to share with you after the retreat.  If you aren't attending this one, I hope you can just us next time.

A few days back I had posted my first Sneak Peek of one of the classes I was offering at our Creative Escape Retreat.  It was a Fall Wow scrapbook.  You can view it HERE.  I have given my guest the option to do the Fall version or a Holiday Version.  Here is my share of my Holiday Wow tag scrapbook.  I can't wait to add more than 24 Family Pictures in this album.

Hello Doily Christmas Card

I love background stamps.  They make a card so beautiful and you don't really need to add much to a project.  When I saw the Hello, Doily background stamp set I was over the moon.  A stamp set like Hello, Doily speaks for itself.  Last night at my Christmas class one of my guest made a beautiful page with it.  It wasn't a Christmas Page but it inspired me to make a card for today's share.  I love how this stamp is so versatile, from simply elegant to holiday projects, this baby is a must in your stamp space.  You probably can't see very well but this card is 5×5, therefore it is a large stamp set.

I used the scallop square die with the Frostwood lodge designer paper.  Another great die to use with your big shot.  And you can get your own big shot or 125$ of free products when you sign up as a demonstrator.   Ask me how or join HERE.

If you are recreating a 5 x 5 card, don't forget the Medium Square envelopes #107289

Hello Doily background stamp #122845

Creative Escape Sneak Peek Class 2

Let the countdown begin.  In 16 days, Marlayne and I are hosting our 3rd Creative Escape Retreat.  We host in Spring and Fall.  I get especially excited in the Fall because I get to make Holiday projects for our guests.  I am honored to host 2 classes at the retreat.  The first one was my Fall Wow scrapbook which you can view HERE and now you get a sneak peek of the second class.

I have always wanted to make an Advent calendar and didn't know where to start.  This year I am amazed that Stampin up! came up with products in the Holiday Mini to make one.  The Stamp set 25 & Counting or in french J-25 and the new Peekaboo Frame Bigz Die are the perfect and easy way to create one.  I could not pass up this opportunity:)  I was going to make it on a canvas so my guests could make one at a reasonable price.  But then Stampin up! came up with great products on the clearance rack, which included the Chunky Frame.  It's been one of my favorite products and I was sad when stampin up retired the frame.  So now that it's back for limited quantities and at a cheap price, I jumped on the occasion.  And suddenly I thought to myself, I will use the chunky frame to make my advent calendar.

And voila! the outcome:

I loved how easy it was to create the opening frames, the peekaboo Frame Bigz L die was perfect for that.  And now until the end of October, Stampin up has offered the Big Shot for FREE or 125$ of FREE product, when you join my family of demonstrators in October.  Learn how to get this sweet deal HERE

The chunky frames are great to work with because you can add any designer paper to decorate the frame.  It's simple you just cut your paper and glue it to the frame.   I used Frostwood Lodge Designer Paper.

I am truly grateful of this beauty and will display it every year during the Holidays.  I especially love Day 25, which is our family picture and wishes Happy Holidays.

You can view or purchase the Chunky Frame on my clearance rack by clicking HERE and selecting clearance rack on the left.  This item has limited quantities and you might want to get one asap.

If you are attending our Creative Escape Retreat then this is a class you don't want to miss, email me.

Follow up on my birthday organizer

Ok this is the last time you will read about my birthday calendar.  I intended to post last night but we finished a little bit late:)  I am overwhelmed by your response to add your name to my birthday organizer and let me tell you, I need to start making the cards this weekend, as I do have birthday cards to send out on Monday, so it can hopefully make it on time for your early birthdays.  But I did want to share with you a few of my favorite months.  I used stamps sets that were dear to me and also that coordinated with the months.  Some we added ribbon, designer paper and other embellishments.  I guess my favorites were the simple ones.  I don't know why because normally I don't do good with simple.

March's Featured stamp set: Forever Young #122570 (w) #122572(c)

April's Featured Stamp set:  Up, Up & Away #122755(w) #122757(c)

June's Featured Stamp set:  The Open Sea #123030(w) #123032(c)

July, my birthday month's Featured stamp set: Creative Elements #122645(w) #122647(c)

And November's Featured stamp set:  Gently Falling #123802 (w) #123804(c)

You can view my cover album:  HERE and HERE

Class to go is also available but does not include shipping, shipping cost is additional. Available in English or Français.

I should have posted them last night but again, we did finish a little late and I did need to recharge my batteries on my camera.  It would have been a great night to post as I did not go to bed until 1h30 am.  Why?  Because my hostess brought lots of treats and we attacked them all like children that had never eaten candy before.  Note to self, do not eat the candy!  It got me so hyper!

On a side note, I did receive your requests for the Christmas in September pdf and there are two ways for your to get my class:

Happy New Year

Well it's been a quiet December for me:(  I have been sick the last two weeks of December which explains why there was little stamping.  I must have slept more in those two weeks than in the last couple of months.  Sometimes life throws you a curve ball!  Jordan, my youngest daughter is still not at her best, even if I am also a nurse, I suck at it when it comes to my kids! What I truly mean is that it breaks my heart in two when they are, and wish I could take Jordan's pain away.

On the bright side, it is my family tradition to take some pictures of the girls with a professional yearly.  My focus was on the kids but we took a few family pictures too.  I always use the same company but this year decided differently since My two oldest daughters are getting a bit old for the matching outfits!  I had this amazing photograph come into my home to take pictures of the girls.  Sadly Jordan started spiking her fever at that point but I must say Genevieve Albert did get lot's of amazing shots.  There is a french saying that goes:  "Ma perle rare"  which sort of means, my gem.  Well Genevieve is one of the most talented photograph that I have ever met, MY GEM since she gave me great memories of my family for December 2010.  Merci Genevieve!  Here is one of my favorite family picture.

Ok I am reading my post and you probably thing, is Kim "sappy" today?  We did have fun during the holidays, even though we did not ski like we planned.  Here is one of the best pictures of the girls to prove it!  As I said on my facebook page, I am truly blessed to have beautiful healthy girls.  And I love them very much, even when they play in my jewelry:)

Well before I post my project for the day, from the bottom of my heart I would like to wish all of my customers, demonstrator friends, team members and my blog readers a very 2011 Happy New Year, with health, love, happiness and whatever your heart desires. xoxox  Bonne Année à tous!xoxoxo

You have until tomorrow January 3rd to order from the Holiday mini, and starting January 4th it's time for the Occasion mini.  wohoooo!  Ladies, book your party today as you will want most of the entire mini catalogue!  Email me if you haven't received your copy in the mail yet!

Here is my little project for the day.  We love cooking in this house, my kitchen is one of my favorite room of the entire house.  I decided to make a few albums with my favorite recipes and keep them close to me in the kitchen and found the perfect spot for them.  These albums are from the Holiday mini which end tomorrow.  Item code:  #120885 and there is a matching designer paper #120808.  Adding decor element to the album with ribbon just creates that special touch!

Happy October!

Well we are already in October!  This past weekend, I held my first weekend retreat- Creative Escape Weekend Retreat.  Marlayne and I hosted for a bunch of fabulous ladies.  The best part for me about being a demonstrator is to create (we all have creation deep in ourselves)  but some of us just don't know it, giving to others and spoiling them too & most of all, the friendships…  Well this weekend was all about that, a mini founder's circle for our customers, demonstrators & friends.  I took so many pictures and will share a few highlights.  But the first thing I wanted to share was my Fabric Journal Class.  Here is a sneak peek!  You will get more pictures this week.  I am so not a sewer but after attending convention and listening to Shelli & Sara's presentation on fabric, I realized, I do not need to be a sewer to use Stampin up's amazing fabric.

Here is the fabric Christmas Organizer that I created.

I actually have two:  This is "the Shelli"  version since Shelli presented Deck the halls fabric at convention.

The other one is "the Sara" version which I will show you soon, it is made using the Candy Cane Christmas fabric.

This month:  With a 50$ online order in October with me only, you get this adorable class for FREE from me.  Yes that is written instructions and video of the Christmas organizer.  What a great gift to give to that special someone, you can add your favorite recipes,  family wish list etc.

If you missed our retreat & want to come to my next class on October 28th.  We will be making these journals in Stampin up Fabric of your choice ( Deck the halls #121716) or (Candy Cane Christmas #121715)

Happy stamping!
