Last night’s big shot class

Yesterday I held my first Big shot class.  This is an event that I will host monthly.  You may have noticed that when I post projects, I almost use the big shot everytime.  The big shot is so amazing, do you have this & want new ideas to use with your big shot?  There are 1000 of things you can do with your Big Shot machine!!

I am showing you samples from last night.

The first one is Paula's samples

The second one is Manon 's samples.

Completely two different looks but the two sets of samples are beautiful.

Thanks ladies for sharing your projects with all of us.

Come to next months big shot class:

Come learn and make 5 different projects every month!  Even if you don’t own the big shot, but hope to someday, or just want to get out for a night of fun! RSVP by October 1st. Make 5 awesome projects! Boxes, bags, books, cards and more!  Cost: 20.00 or FREE with a min. of a 25.00 order or more that night. Next class is October 14th (always the second Tuesday of the month)

Sponging Presto Paper technique

Last week on technique Tuesday, I mentionned I would do the second technique with the Presto Patterns Specialty designer paper and sponge.  It's very simple and doesn't need lots of explanation.

1.  Cut your Presto Patterns paper

2.  Use coordination classic ink and a sponge

3.  In a circular motion apply ink to your presto patterns paper

4.  Add ink until your image is the desired color of your choice.

Keep in mind, you can apply darker shades or softer shades or even a combination of more than one color!

How simple was that?  What a great hostess gift if you create 4 cards with matching envelops and add them in a cute decorated cello bag.

Supplies used for this card:

Stamp set:   Oval all #113790

Cardstock: Whisper white #100730, Marina Mist #119682 & Presto Patterns Specialty designer Paper #117175

Ink:  Marina Mist #119668

Accessories: 5/8" whisper white satin ribbon #114616

Tools:  Sponge #101610, 1 3/4"x 7/8" oval large punch #119855, scallop oval extra-large punch #119856

Simply Adorned, simply gorgeous…

I have to say, I've been getting great comments since I started wearing my Simply Adorned Charms.  It all started when I participated in two swaps, one in Canada & the second in the States.  After receiving different ideas from demonstrators, I fell in love with these adorable charms…

I  have been displaying them in my studio and have them in bags, separated them in all the different sizes.  Here is a close up of one of the charms.  I don't have the name of the demonstrator that designed it but I just love it.

Here  is one that I created in black & white.  Sorry for the picture, it is not as clear as I would of liked it to be.

You can purchase these charms from me 3 ways:

1. Email me

2. Shop on line

3. Come to one of my fun classes

The Simply Adorned charms and Chains are in the summer mini on p. 17

CHAINS:

Simply Adorned Bracelet 8" #117342

Simply Adorned Chain 24" # 116800

Simply Adorned Chain 34" # 116853

CHARMS:

Simply Adorned 5/8" circle charm #117349

Simply Adorned 5/8" square charm #118476

Simply Adorned 1 1/2" x 2" rectangle charm #116799

Simply Adorned 1" x 1 1/4" rectangle charm #116798

Simply Adorned 1" x 1" square charm #116797

I think it would make a fabulous gift for someone special, with the chains you can create necklaces, bracelets or even a key chain.    You can create your own inserts with you stampin supplies or add a picture.  I love that I can create inserts that match my clothes.  I am planning on giving one to one of my daughter's sweet teacher.  Can't wait to see you at my next simply adorned class, aren't they simply adorable…

Tomorrow it is Friday, wohooooo!  Off to Kathie's workshop
