Wow already June 30th, time flies especially when you are having fun.  I love Greece, it is paradise.  If my kids were here with me, I think I would stay.  We are in Santorini for 3 days and it is the most beautiful place on earth.  If you are a bride to be, I recommend this wonderful location for your honeymoon.

Here is a card I made to help out a new recruit demonstrator on my team for her first workshop.  If you would like to join my team click here.

Spring cleaning continues…

By saying I will post, you are really pushing me to clean up my studio.  Thank you for all the compliments, and suggestions.  I have already changed a few things.  There was also so many questions, ranging from paint color, where I got my pieces of furniture, to where I got my vintage coffee cups…  You have to take in considerations that I have been a demonstrator x 4 1/2 years and a stamper since Stampin'up! has started in Canada.  Some of the pieces I bought on my own, some are in storage for a dear friend and the rest of them, my husband bought for me on different occasions like Christmas and my birthday etc.  He owns a construction business in Toronto, well actually Mississauga, Ontario and when December comes, I go with him to the big city for his staff's Christmas party and one of my first stop is Pottery Barn:)

This is my favorite Stamping spot!  It gets crazy messy.  Actually, I haven't seen it look like this in a long time!  In the summer I get the Ottawa river view!  Right now, it's a view of ridiculously huge snow banks:(  Anyway, it's the perfect spot to create!  In my baskets, I store all my products.

On the opposite side is where I store all my big shot dies, I love that stampin up has added these box for die storage.  They come in 3 different sizes:  Small die box #122219, Medium die box #122220 and Large die box #122221

I found this vintage piece of furniture and it's one of my favorites in my studio.  Right now it stores my clear stamp sets but my goal is to display my 3D creations.

I hope you are enjoying part two, of my stamping space. You can view part one here.  I still have 2 more spots to share, one is where my guests and downline stamp and the other is my office.  My office is the worst place.  I am so not good with paperwork. Maybe you should give me a few suggestions on how to get organized there, Pretty please…

My friend Veronique came to stamp with me this afternoon.  We came up with a beautiful gift for a dear friend of hers with a matching card.  I can't wait to share with you tomorrow.

If you would like to stamp with me, book a party with your friends or check out my class schedule,  or join my team and you can attend my classes and monthly meetings, I would love to stamp with you!

Sponging Presto Paper technique

Last week on technique Tuesday, I mentionned I would do the second technique with the Presto Patterns Specialty designer paper and sponge.  It's very simple and doesn't need lots of explanation.

1.  Cut your Presto Patterns paper

2.  Use coordination classic ink and a sponge

3.  In a circular motion apply ink to your presto patterns paper

4.  Add ink until your image is the desired color of your choice.

Keep in mind, you can apply darker shades or softer shades or even a combination of more than one color!

How simple was that?  What a great hostess gift if you create 4 cards with matching envelops and add them in a cute decorated cello bag.

Supplies used for this card:

Stamp set:   Oval all #113790

Cardstock: Whisper white #100730, Marina Mist #119682 & Presto Patterns Specialty designer Paper #117175

Ink:  Marina Mist #119668

Accessories: 5/8" whisper white satin ribbon #114616

Tools:  Sponge #101610, 1 3/4"x 7/8" oval large punch #119855, scallop oval extra-large punch #119856

Scrapbooking memories for Father’s Day

My Father's Day Page

Memories of my husband & my daughter Jordan, Old Orchard USA.  I took this picture while they where spinning in this big giant bear ride.

Well let me tell you I found a new addiction! Specialty Designer Series Paper.  It's in the new Summer Mini Catalogue.  This vintage Designer Series Paper has different glossy designs that can be magically revealed using 1) Smooch Spritz 2) Aqua Painter 3) Brayer or 4) Sponge and ink.  I love love love it… As much as my stencils which I use a lot!  The brown specs are smooch spritz in log cabin.  I recommend using the color catcher so you don't have smooch everywhere.

My close up reveals a light impression of colors because I used a sponge.  If you want a bolder look, then I would suggest a brayer.  If you notice on the right side of my picture, I also stamped Sense of time stamp set over my sponged image to create texture.

If you are coming to one of my clubs or Melissa's party on Monday you get to make one of these!

Then I added On Board Cog in chipboard.  And added some chocolate chip ink to it. I used chocolate chip instead of early espresso because my new catty order will only make it in Canada monday!

By the way, have you noticed something different from this page?

Stampinup! sent us some samplers of cardstock from the new 2010-2011 catalogue.  A wonderful perk from being a demonstrator.  I used cherry cobbler and early espresso.

Specialty Designer Series Paper #117175

Smooch Spritz in Log Cabin # 119921

Color Catcher # 121093

Cog # 117237

Sense of Time # 113804

Brayer # 102395

Sponge # 101610

And the new colors will be available to you July 1st unless you join today, then you get to preorder new 2010-2011 products this month!

To order these wonderful products click HERE or email me

Have a wonderful weekend!
