I’m on fire creating like I never have

I am so sorry for not posting as often.  But when I don't post it's not that I have lost interest in creating.  It's total opposite, it's because I am busy, crazy busy with workshops and more.   It's sad, but when I get busy the first thing that I stop doing is posting on my blog.  So thanks for all the emails inquiring if I was ok.  I am and have a fabulous Fall schedule just for you!  The Holiday season is just around the corner. There is still time to schedule your holiday stampin'party with me, so contact me, I have a few dates available. Tonight I will post twice.  Here is the box we created at one of my workshops.  We also added 4 cards for the inside which I will share with you later tonight, as soon as I come home from my daughter's skating practice. I am having trouble adapting to the cold weather and cold arenas!

I used mainly products from the Holiday mini!  I am loving those bite size pizza boxes!  love love love !  thanks Jo-Ann for introducing me to this design.

Happy October!

Well we are already in October!  This past weekend, I held my first weekend retreat- Creative Escape Weekend Retreat.  Marlayne and I hosted for a bunch of fabulous ladies.  The best part for me about being a demonstrator is to create (we all have creation deep in ourselves)  but some of us just don't know it, giving to others and spoiling them too & most of all, the friendships…  Well this weekend was all about that, a mini founder's circle for our customers, demonstrators & friends.  I took so many pictures and will share a few highlights.  But the first thing I wanted to share was my Fabric Journal Class.  Here is a sneak peek!  You will get more pictures this week.  I am so not a sewer but after attending convention and listening to Shelli & Sara's presentation on fabric, I realized, I do not need to be a sewer to use Stampin up's amazing fabric.

Here is the fabric Christmas Organizer that I created.

I actually have two:  This is "the Shelli"  version since Shelli presented Deck the halls fabric at convention.

The other one is "the Sara" version which I will show you soon, it is made using the Candy Cane Christmas fabric.

This month:  With a 50$ online order in October with me only, you get this adorable class for FREE from me.  Yes that is written instructions and video of the Christmas organizer.  What a great gift to give to that special someone, you can add your favorite recipes,  family wish list etc.

If you missed our retreat & want to come to my next class on October 28th.  We will be making these journals in Stampin up Fabric of your choice ( Deck the halls #121716) or (Candy Cane Christmas #121715)

Happy stamping!

Christmas tags part two

I looked at my post this morning, wow was I sleepy when I wrote yesterday!  I said I had trouble creating the second tag.  I played a lot more.  I was determined to use my always artichoke big designer buttons.  I also liked the color combo of crumb cake, always artichoke, very vanilla and early espresso.  Reading this seems like I am talking about a recipe.  It's fun what stampin'up! can come up with for the names of ink colors! Here they are my second batch of Christmas tags.

I should be posting about Fall, Halloween, Back to school, but this is the mood I am in!  I will challenge myself.  Actually I am so due to create a scrapbook page for my daughters.

I have to say, looking at this picture, my waffle paper needs to be fixed.  It was pretty.  So if you get this swap from me, making sure it's all ruffled!

Fall colors for my VIP online shoppers

I have been neglecting to post, so sorry.  Remember last week I said I was working on something big.  Well this past Friday, I surprised my husband with his 40th birthday bash.  His birthday is only in December but for a few reasons I did it September 3rd.  My in-laws travel and would not be around, we have our staff Christmas parties at that time, in November and December.  Last but not least I wanted to get him good!  GOTCHA babe!  My husband loves big gatherings so I invited family, friends and staff.  That was the best part for him, when he got to the boat and saw all the people that touches his life in different ways, from employees, to friends he had not seen in a long time to family!  Before posting my project for the day, I will be showing you a few highlights.

All of our Family, Friends and staff.  The played a Rocky music while Tony was walking to the boat and everyone cheered Tony, Tony, Tony…  What an evening!

Anthony is a huge Star Wars fan,  I have my stampin studio, he has his star wars studio and my kids have their own craft room!  Everyone is happy at home!  My gift to him was a R2D2 cake made from friends of our Mario and Chantal.  Here is a pic for you and yes we did cut the cake and ate it.  It was delicious!

Where did he get me? At the end of the evening he said:  My real birthday is only in December, yes I get another party! lol

Ok now on for my card of the day, when fall hits, I am a huge Rock and Roll fan!  Meaning I get to stamp my leaves with the Rock and Roll technique. Although it's not technique Tuesday, I was anxious to share:

Double Post today

Thanks for being patient with me.  Our 2 p c are broken and I have to admit, there are things I still don't know how to do on my mac.  I also need to thank my husband who had the tech come in today STAT!

For being so patient, my post today will be a double one and you are going to be pleased.  First of all I had created for my Sudsol swaps this first project.  It was also to be featured on Marvelous Monday's.  I just love the turn out and hope my Sudsol swappies will love it too.

Blythe was the hostess, and I have to admit she is really a sweet lady for accommodating me on such short notice.  You have to see my post on the weekend and see why I have been so busy.  Not only back to school but I have been working on something big lately.  Ok enough chatting!

The first card is for the demonstrators that participated in the swap.  I made 40 babies of these.

The second card is my upgrade and this one is for my hostess, Blythe.  Sometimes, adding just a few accessories can bring a card to the next level.  Simply elegant!

marvelous monday share

It's Monday already.  Want to see the 2 layouts I have planned out for you?  Since stampin up came out with the release of their corner punches you can now cut a perfect square with the corner punch and matching border punch.

Here is my upgraded version of this card:

Cutting perfect square borders

Step 1 Cut a piece of card stock at 3 13/16 on all 4 sides.

Step 2  Punch with corner punch in all 4 corners.

Step 3  Use matching border punch, center and punch all sides.

You can't really see it but the dazzling diamond adds a special touch to this card. So sparkly!
