Join us, Thursday May 5th, for our fundraiser event, Stamp & Stomp Cancer.  The Cancer foundation is close to my heart.  My dear friend and coworker was diagnosed with Cancer at the age of 29 this past January.  As you might be aware, I am also a nurse at the Eastern Ontario Health Unit.  My office coworkers and I would love to walk in the honor of Geneviève, and fight with her this disease.  Geneviève is a strong women and a breeze of fresh air in the Hawkesbury office.  We miss her lots while she is fighting this horrible disease. She has shown us courage, strength and is so passionate and caring with her clients at work and at home with her family including her baby daughter…  We miss her smile… when Geneviève is working, the office feels warmer!

So that's why I've chosen to do a fundraiser for the Cancer Foundation. I'm hoping that you will come and have lots of fun with us while we support a fantastic cause.  You probably know someone who is fighting cancer right this minute, so invite your family and friends to this wonderful event.

Instructions provided by Stampin'Up!

1.  Cut 4"x5" Botanical Gazette paper using Top Note Bigz Die.

2.  Stamp "Amour"  in Early Espresso ink on Top Note die cut.

3.  Stamp crane image in Early Espresso ink on Top Note die cut and 7"x10 1/2" Botanical Gazette Design series paper.

4.  Ink background image in Early Espresso ink.  Stamp off and then stamp image on Crumb Cake Card Stock.

5.  Stamp butterfly image and "No. 5" image in Early Espresso ink on Crumb Cake Card Stock.

6.  Punch Crumb Cake Card Stock using 2" x 1 3/8" Oval Punch.

7.  Punch Early Espresso Card Stock using Decorative label punch.  Layer Oval and decorative label shapes, and adhere to top note die cut.

8.  Adhere top note die cut to botanical gazette designer series paper (7" x 10 1/2"); insert in case.  Adhere top note die cut to 7" x 10 1/2" botanical gazette designer series paper; insert in case.

9.  Tie Crumb cake seam binding around spine of case, and then tie trinket key on one end.  Tie Very Vanilla seam binding and crochet trim to crumb cake seam binding.

Here is the card we made at the MDS class with Sara Douglass, we all got a copy during make and take session.  What I love about MDS is you can mass produce and then add embellishments, like this ribbon.  Simple but gorgeous!  If you order MDS with a few downloads starting January 25th, you get two FREE sale-a-bration products!

I was surprised of all the men who use My Digital Studio.  Brent had them raise their hands and hello!  there are many of you out there!

Brent went on stage with his baseball cap and Cheetos, red bull and made sure to express his "manly" habits to the men in the theater.

He presented two projects he had created for his son:  A frame and a 8×8 scrapbook album.  What is so awesome about My digital Studio is that he was able to do the same album twice. How? by changing the pictures only and keeping the digital layout he had created initially.  How smart is that?  So both of his sons have their own football album. You must have children in multiple sports!  My digital studio is a great way to create these albums in a flash and would also make a awesome gift for Father’s Day.
