What a great weekend

Marlayne Hardy and I had a lovely time, hosting our Third Creative Escape Retreat this past weekend.  It's already over and our guests are already excited for the next one.  Here are a few highlights from this fabulous weekend. Today I will be posting about Friday Night!  This event started off with a bang!! Stampers arrived early to get in line to check in.  First treat was a bag of goodies and attached was a tag that I made using the Holiday stocking die #124098 in early espresso card stock.

I also Love the DEAR SANTA stamp set from the Holiday mini #123832(w) #123834(c) That is where I got the To:  From: to stamp on the tag.

Marlayne used my digital studio to design the seating assignment.  She did such a wonderful job, I always keep mine as a souvenir!

My Advent Holiday calendar class took place on Friday!  They worked really hard but left with a great piece of art!

Then it was time for treats, Stampin'up! treats and Yummy edible treats.  Marlayne crafted the first stampinup! goodies.

If you would like to join us for our 4th retreat, simply email me, it's already more than half full, we will have a waiting list if it fills up to quickly! It will take place on March 30th,31st & April 1st 2012.  And if you can't wait that long to stamp with me, then I do have my semi-annual technique retreat on November 5th.  View details: HERE

Sign up for technique retreat – 2 spots left

I have been working really really hard to finalize my 20 technique projects for this coming Saturday's Riverfront Semi Annual Stampin'Retreat.  I always like to push myself for this day and add samples that have my special touch.  You might be wondering why this technique is so dear to me?  I use my technique books to show all the wonderful things we can do with our stamps.  Lot's of people buy stamps and don't know the full potential, meaning there are so many things we can do with stamps!!!  I carry my technique books everywhere, even in my car!  I love to share what I do and this is a great way.

There is still time to sign up for my technique day.  If you would like to join us, I have 2 spots and just click HERE.  I also have my latest technique class to go, you can email me for details.

Enjoy your evening and I will enjoy my time in my stamp studio tonight:)

Don't forget to check out the Retiring List once the products are gone, they are gone for Good.

Getting ready to say farewell

Sale-a-bration sale is almost over!  4 Days left.  I admit I used the Sale-a-bration stamp set Bliss or in french Joie, again and again.  It was my #1 favorite.  Had a workshop this morning, and this is one of the cards we made.  I did add a little preview from the next 2011-2012 Catalog, the four frames stamp set.  Also, there is only 1 month left for the Occasions mini, and we don't know if any of these products are coming back, most of them likely not!  So I have highlighting them, like the Rosettes!  One of my workshop attendees, Carmen said to me today that I should have been born in those "vintage"days.  She said she always can recall when it's a "Kim Card".  What is your style?  Tell me what do you like?  I think it will be one of my questions next month with my Downline.  I have used two backgrounds stamp set for this card.  Can you guess which ones they are?  I have a new favorite… Wonderfully Worn.  It creates these dots just like the spritzer tool :)

Here is a close up of the specs from the Wonderfully Worn Background.  Add this one on your wish list it's a must!

I also have been creating and prepping for our second Creative Escape Weekend and the projects are fabulous.  The sad part is that I cannot share with you until it's over.  But I designed 4 wowser scrapbook pages for attendees.  Also have created  a circle scrapbook in a box, a delicious &  rich color canvas, cupcake treats, fabric galore projects…  I can't wait to share with you after the retreat.

Products used:

Stamp set:  Four Frames #123442 (c) #123440 (w), Bliss SAB stamp set (w) #121851, (c) #123217 or Joie # (w) 123240 (c) #123242, Sanded #109294 and Wonderfully Worn#118533 background stamp

Ink:  Pink Pirouette #111838, Crumb Cake #121030

Card stock and paper:   Pink Pirouette #111351, Crumb Cake #120953, Very Vanilla #101650, First Edition Specialty Designer paper #121878
