Halloween Advent Calendar Complete

So excited, it's complete!  Well sort of, I didn't receive my order from my clearance rack sale and wanted to add a few goodies from there but I manage, pretty much to complete most of the work and I am so ready to share with you.  Yesterday, I posted that I was working on my Halloween Advent Calendar and you did see the first few steps HERE.  I managed to create 31 days with the peekaboo Frames Bigz Die.  I am so loving this die!  Creating the Halloween Advent calendar from Stampin'up!'s chunky frame was a little more challenging because I did need to fit in 31 squares.  And the Christmas Advent Calendar that I previously did only needed 25 squares, you can view this one HERE.  But I pulled through.  Another cute project to add to my Halloween Collection.

I added lots of bling some visible on these pictures, others you need to come visit me in my studio:)

There were lots of different punches used too.  And I managed to use lots of stamps set, including Christmas one, 25 & Counting from the Holiday mini.

It was lots of fun to do but cleaning the mess in my studio is another thing.  How do I get so messy?  I still don't know.  I didn't want to loose my thoughts and just kept adding details to my advent calendar.

For the peekaboo door, I got smarter and now can change the picture by adding it to the back of the glass!

If you would like to make one just like mine you can order the products on my super store or you can host a party and make either the Halloween or Christmas one with your friends, just contact me!

You can view or purchase the Chunky Frame on my clearance rack by clicking HERE and selecting clearance rack on the left.  This item has limited quantities and you might want to get one asap.

Hello Doily Christmas Card

I love background stamps.  They make a card so beautiful and you don't really need to add much to a project.  When I saw the Hello, Doily background stamp set I was over the moon.  A stamp set like Hello, Doily speaks for itself.  Last night at my Christmas class one of my guest made a beautiful page with it.  It wasn't a Christmas Page but it inspired me to make a card for today's share.  I love how this stamp is so versatile, from simply elegant to holiday projects, this baby is a must in your stamp space.  You probably can't see very well but this card is 5×5, therefore it is a large stamp set.

I used the scallop square die with the Frostwood lodge designer paper.  Another great die to use with your big shot.  And you can get your own big shot or 125$ of free products when you sign up as a demonstrator.   Ask me how or join HERE.

If you are recreating a 5 x 5 card, don't forget the Medium Square envelopes #107289

Chop Chop back to work!

Seriously, I have never taken so long of a vacation!  I must admit the less I work the harder it get's to get back in the routine.  I do miss the crafting but felt that I needed to catch up with my girls.  To have earned Alaska Cruise, then to be invited to Greece by friends was offers we could not resist + Tony and I work so hard that vacation together is the time we truly catch up on things.  But then when I got home from convention, I did feel I needed to give my full attention to my sweet daughters.  I have been home for more than 1 week and now they don't need me as much, scratch this, it's back to being the taxi driver, YES they do need me! lol  I'm kidding, we had fun this weekend boating with friends and the family.  I really do miss my craft room and do miss your comments and heck we have a new 2011-2012 catalogue and plenty of new projects that I can't wait to get my hands on.  So let's get the ball rolling!!  Chop chop as I say to my girls when I want things done.

As I mentioned in my last post, Convention was the best, as I make new projects, I still want to highlight a few things in my next few posts.  First of all, Shannon West asked me to be a presenter, I was truly honored.  I love Shannon and her work. The best experience of my life!  I recommend this opportunity and wish it upon every Stampin 'up! demonstrator in the US and Canada.  I have made so many new friends.  Got over my fear of stage fright, especially talk in my second language English.  I did manage to say a few Canadian EH!  I also was so excited that Anthony, my dear husband came to Utah! just to see me.  He actually loved the place, loved the dry air and the shopping too.  If you see him ask him how was his experience at Buckle, a clothing store?   The demonstrators from my team didn't give him enough a hard time so HE WANTS TO COME BACK!  I truly appreciate the support he has given me, and without him would have not made it as #3 Demonstrator of the Year in Canada.

I wanted to share a page that I am going to mount on a canvas for Megan for her room.  I presented it step by step during my presentation at convention.  I used a big picture because they appeal better on walls.  For this project, I used the Pocketful of Posies bundle #2 that demonstrator got for free depending on their title. In italic below is what came in the kit!  As I said in my presentation and I will say again:  I love how stampin up! has included in the new 2011-2012 catalogue a section that shows you how to build an Letterpress sandwich.  I was afraid of letterpress before but I'm not anymore:) check it out on p.217 of the new catty.

I'm off to work on my BOGO event for this Thursday, sign up you won't want to miss this event!

Super Woman, I am

Do you ever feel like you are super woman?  I sometimes think I am.  Although we were gone for a week on a family vacation, the first moment I stepped into my home, vacation was over!  The phone started ringing and I was the designated taxi driver.  It's like an alarm went on, kids are back, kids are back then 10 friends called.  I am truly blessed that the girls have such great friends but I do remember that my parents would not drive me around at such a young age.  I use to stay in the country and play with my cousins, or go to my grandfather's family farm and play with the animals…We did not go as often to the big city!

These past few days I needed to take out my super cape!  Why did I need my super cape?  Well I learned a huge lesson.  Never, never pack too many clothes for a trip and think "the unworn clothes, we will leave in a separate luggage and just put them back in the drawers."  It doesn't work that way, you still got to wash it all!  I need to post that my super husband did lots of laundry and groceries on Sunday while I was gone to help a new sale-a-bration recruit with her first workshop!  By the way not much time left to purchase the starter kit at 15% off and get that bonus 60$ gift. (7 days only)Think of all the money you spend eating at the restaurant during the week or the times you stop at a coffee shop.  You can afford this awesome deal and at a great price!  More than 375$ of products for $182.75, no taxes, no shipping! I would love to have you part of my team:)

We are also busy preparing for end of year activities.  Lauren and Jordan have taken hip hop since September and the show is in April, so yesterday was picture day.  Megan's figure skating show is this weekend.  Which means we do not get anymore ice time in our town and Megan will start traveling to the big city for ice time!

Last weekend was my team meeting, the Cupcake Cuties.  One of the projects was a simple, easy scrapbook page.  It matches the projects that I showed in the last few days.  I love to coordinate projects.  Scrapbooking has been a great part of my stamping business and one of the main reasons I joined stampin up.  I will add a title to this page, I am looking for the perfect one.

Wow did I share lots today, this is what's been going on in our house in the last couple of days.

Quick Hello

I just want to say Hi, hope your weekend is wonderful.  My girlfriends and I are going to a concert.  My friend Julie invited 15 of us.  Imagine, 15 girls out together.  I haven't done that in a while.  A limo is picking us up at my friend Vero and we are heading out for dinner and then to the Lady Gaga concert.  It should be interesting:)  Girls night out= dinner + limo + Lady Gaga + 15 girlfriends, should be priceless!

I promise to share yesterday's project that Vero and I worked on.

Her cousin from Texas is getting married and here is what we came up with. (Note: I did place a picture of Tony and I so you would get an idea of what the finish frame would look like:)
And you know I like things that match so we designed a coordinating card.

Smells like a new year

I have been quiet with the blog this week.  It's great that the kids are back to school.  For me this is like a fresh new year starting.  I reorganized my stamp sets, AGAIN!  I always do this when a new catalog comes out.  I started training at the gym again, something I use to do daily and that I had not done in a while.  Today my body is in pain.  But good pain, I love it!  I also attended team meeting yesterday and I had not gone in such a long time because I couldn't fit it in my schedule.  It felt good, I missed my demonstrator friends so much.  For me, since I join as a demonstrator, the friendships has been one of the best advantages.  Not many jobs you get a heartfelt welcome like that!  Angela made a beautiful Halloween card.  I got home and was inspired by her to make my own version.  I love ruffles and ribbon, lace and distressing, so I adapted it to my own style and taste.  It was fun to play with this card.  Love the outcome.  Thanks Angela for the inspiration!

I just love the waffle paper, it's a must.  I created a accordion fold with it and it just made this card stand out!

Tonight, it's time to play!  I should be adding final touches to my special class for the retreat I have planned for October.  I am thinking of showing a few highlights.  We will see!

Double Post today

Thanks for being patient with me.  Our 2 p c are broken and I have to admit, there are things I still don't know how to do on my mac.  I also need to thank my husband who had the tech come in today STAT!

For being so patient, my post today will be a double one and you are going to be pleased.  First of all I had created for my Sudsol swaps this first project.  It was also to be featured on Marvelous Monday's.  I just love the turn out and hope my Sudsol swappies will love it too.

Blythe was the hostess, and I have to admit she is really a sweet lady for accommodating me on such short notice.  You have to see my post on the weekend and see why I have been so busy.  Not only back to school but I have been working on something big lately.  Ok enough chatting!

The first card is for the demonstrators that participated in the swap.  I made 40 babies of these.

The second card is my upgrade and this one is for my hostess, Blythe.  Sometimes, adding just a few accessories can bring a card to the next level.  Simply elegant!

Supplies used today:

Wowser Wednesday Personal Journal

I would love to share with you today my Personal Journal for Wowser Wednesday.  In the past few months, I have learned that when I set specific goals I can achieve them.  This on board art journal will be my goal tracker to earn the next stampin up incentive trip which is Walt Disney World.  This trip means a lot to me because I would like to bring my children along.  They already know that stampinup organized this incentive trip and I must admit they have been my hardest trainers as of yet.  Already they are constantly asking have you earn it yet.  I am determined to earn this for them.  I also have other goals for this year and have been keeping track of them.

My favorite color is Baja Breeze but I was determined to use some other color, the love letter designer paper is beautiful and elegant which made me focus on this designer paper.  After that everything came about on it's own.  This designer paper coordinates with so many accessories, I had to hold back because I wanted to add more.

I am hosting my gala in September for members of my team:Cupcake cuties and they will be doing something similar + be spoiled in more than one way.  I am having an event to thank them for the wonderful year they had.  And it is partly because of them that I am where I want to be today!  So I am very grateful for all of the girls on my team.  Each team member has brought something wonderful to my personal life and my business.

We are on vacation this week and yesterday we went to Calypso Water Park.  It was great!  This picture will be in my journal to remind me of one of the goals I have set for myself and my family.  By the way, I have 3 kids, any trick out there to share with me for having all of them look at the camera at the same time.  I wonder how the Gardner's do it every year on the Gardner Family Photo for the Catalog.

My Progressive Page from Yesterday

I promised to come back today with my progressive page completed.  Here is the before page.  Well I am posting a little late because we drove out of town to do some errands today.  Actually I find when you go shopping with 3 kids, it takes longer and cost more!  They wanted something in every store we stopped!  I wanted to buy my bulb so my pictures would look clear.  We also drove out of town to deliver a bunch of orders from workshops I did in July.  Now for my 12×12 progressive page.  WARNING:  my husband is topless but since the picture is from far far way, I thought he wouldn't mind. lol It was extremely hot that day.  We went to Chateau Montebello by boat, we left our house to this Fairmont Hotel.  We brought my dad and my brother and their spouses for Father's Day.  It was a fun day except like I said very humid and hot!  I just love this picture because of the background filled with flowers.  I just love love love to scrapbook because I can look at this page and all the memories from that day just come to me!

Adding microbeads to the flowers really makes them jump out!

I also love to run my alphabet threw the big shot and then place them in a embossing folder to create dept.

Order HERE with me 24/7 online and get benefits from my online VIP club!(shipping anywhere in Canada).

 Have a great weekend everyone!
