Double Post today

Thanks for being patient with me.  Our 2 p c are broken and I have to admit, there are things I still don't know how to do on my mac.  I also need to thank my husband who had the tech come in today STAT!

For being so patient, my post today will be a double one and you are going to be pleased.  First of all I had created for my Sudsol swaps this first project.  It was also to be featured on Marvelous Monday's.  I just love the turn out and hope my Sudsol swappies will love it too.

Blythe was the hostess, and I have to admit she is really a sweet lady for accommodating me on such short notice.  You have to see my post on the weekend and see why I have been so busy.  Not only back to school but I have been working on something big lately.  Ok enough chatting!

The first card is for the demonstrators that participated in the swap.  I made 40 babies of these.

The second card is my upgrade and this one is for my hostess, Blythe.  Sometimes, adding just a few accessories can bring a card to the next level.  Simply elegant!

Supplies used today:

Wowser Wednesday Personal Journal

I would love to share with you today my Personal Journal for Wowser Wednesday.  In the past few months, I have learned that when I set specific goals I can achieve them.  This on board art journal will be my goal tracker to earn the next stampin up incentive trip which is Walt Disney World.  This trip means a lot to me because I would like to bring my children along.  They already know that stampinup organized this incentive trip and I must admit they have been my hardest trainers as of yet.  Already they are constantly asking have you earn it yet.  I am determined to earn this for them.  I also have other goals for this year and have been keeping track of them.

My favorite color is Baja Breeze but I was determined to use some other color, the love letter designer paper is beautiful and elegant which made me focus on this designer paper.  After that everything came about on it's own.  This designer paper coordinates with so many accessories, I had to hold back because I wanted to add more.

I am hosting my gala in September for members of my team:Cupcake cuties and they will be doing something similar + be spoiled in more than one way.  I am having an event to thank them for the wonderful year they had.  And it is partly because of them that I am where I want to be today!  So I am very grateful for all of the girls on my team.  Each team member has brought something wonderful to my personal life and my business.

We are on vacation this week and yesterday we went to Calypso Water Park.  It was great!  This picture will be in my journal to remind me of one of the goals I have set for myself and my family.  By the way, I have 3 kids, any trick out there to share with me for having all of them look at the camera at the same time.  I wonder how the Gardner's do it every year on the Gardner Family Photo for the Catalog.

My Progressive Page from Yesterday

I promised to come back today with my progressive page completed.  Here is the before page.  Well I am posting a little late because we drove out of town to do some errands today.  Actually I find when you go shopping with 3 kids, it takes longer and cost more!  They wanted something in every store we stopped!  I wanted to buy my bulb so my pictures would look clear.  We also drove out of town to deliver a bunch of orders from workshops I did in July.  Now for my 12×12 progressive page.  WARNING:  my husband is topless but since the picture is from far far way, I thought he wouldn't mind. lol It was extremely hot that day.  We went to Chateau Montebello by boat, we left our house to this Fairmont Hotel.  We brought my dad and my brother and their spouses for Father's Day.  It was a fun day except like I said very humid and hot!  I just love this picture because of the background filled with flowers.  I just love love love to scrapbook because I can look at this page and all the memories from that day just come to me!

Adding microbeads to the flowers really makes them jump out!

I also love to run my alphabet threw the big shot and then place them in a embossing folder to create dept.

Over the top Thursday

Have you been struggling with your scrapbooking or you don't have enough time?  Creating progressive page is a easy and a quick way to create lots of pages.  I have prepared for you today 3 projects that feature the Greenhouse Gala Designer series paper.  The colors are so yummy! Don't be shy about leaving a comment, actually it would be nice to see if someone in the cyber world is looking at these projects lol

Step 1:  start by cutting your pear pizzazz cardstock at 6×6 and then embellish with designer paper and ribbon.

Step 2:  with snail adhesive add you 6×6 page to a 8.5×11 cardstock.  I used early espresso.

Step 3 Mount you 8.5×11 onto a 12×12 piece of cardstock.  Check in tomorrow to see the final project with title and pictures.  But this simple page takes a maximum of 15 minutes to create.

I also added a matching card that was design by my friend Jacynthe.

This is when you open the card.  Note:  I would add a small piece of cardstock to add wording to the card.  ( A piece small enough that when the card is close you cannot see it)

Finally I created the matching 3D box and added chocolates inside. Oh and did I say I love the half pearls. You get 150 for 6.50$can.  I have been asking for those and stampin up has listen to us, demonstrators.

What a great gift for a good friend, a handmade card, scrapbook page and 3D box!  I just love giving gifts that coordinate.  Actually the reason I choose stampin up for my business was because everything matches. You save lots of time and the final projects are gorgeous. From markers, to ribbons, buttons, cardstocks, inks, the list goes on and on……

Wowser Wednesday

It's the middle of the week and I wanted to share with you a wow project.  FACT:  Did you know since stampin up associated themselves with Sizzix, Sizzix had to hire 20% more employees.  We are also very lucky that stampinup has a partnership with them because they get to customize dies just for us!  The big shot has a lot of advantages and today I will show you one of them.

I made these for the 3D sudsol swap at convention, and gave one to a few special people in my stampin up life:  my trainer Ronda Wade, my SAM (service account manager) and one to stampinup.  Seriously you will love these, people would stop me to take a picture and ask questions.  A perfect gift for a hostess during Christmas time.  I will be making a few of these for my clients that book a workshop in the next 3 months.

The Pattern box , I had, It's not a die!  But you can print the pattern Here

The following materials work well when creating die cuts with the Big Shot machine and Bigz and Originals dies. Please note the maximum thickness of several materials. As a rule of thumb, you can cut a material with your Big Shot machine and Bigz or Originals dies if you can cut it using your Craft & Paper Scissors.

Let’s get organized in the kitchen!

Does your Recipe Book look like mine? (picture not shown, but maybe I should show it on another post, so you can see the mess)   When my husband looks in my recipe book, he shakes his head.  I guess it's because he is better organized then me.  Right?!

When I earned the stampin up carribean cruise, someone from the stampinup staff had created this awesome recipe book and I had to recreate it for my own kitchen because it is simply adorable and easy to do.  Only took 2 minutes and voila!

It is as easy as 1 2 3:  I placed the definitely decorative (EAT) on my album with my decor elements applicator and then embellished with my fancy ribbon.  That is it!  Ask Jennifer she saw me do it!

Order HERE or email me!

Polka-Dot 6×6 album #119833

Small Eat  in white #117852

Décor Elements Applicator #114285

1.25" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in Old Olive #115618

Isn't it so stinkin' cute?  Check out the other definitely decorative elements that are on sale & available until June 30th in my store.  Starting July 1st look for the new Definitely Decorative 2010-2011 catalogue.
