Over the Top Card

It's been a crazy week at work, my nursing job has pulled me away from my stamp room and it saddens me!  When I get home from work, I am drained out!  Shortage of Nurses, increase in high risk clients has piled up my workload.  Wonder what I do?  One of my tasks, is to go in the homes of families  and assess newborns.  I help with breastfeeding and other issues.  Seeing high risk clients is part of my daily job as we have lots of teenage mothers, families who live in financial difficulties, who make poor daily life choices in this community.  It's my job to teach them better choices, baby care, to find funds for them to pay for diapers etc.  In the last two weeks, I have gotten an overload of high risk clients which breaks my heart.  Having 3 daughters has really soften me up.  You don't know how often I feel like bringing a neglected child at home with our family.  It happens almost every day.  I am normally in bed by 9h30, that is so not me!  Tonight, I took a different approach on this high level of stress.  What do you do when you are stress?  Normally I would go for a run with music playing full blast.  I am truly blessed to have Stampin'up! in my life.  How wonderful that I have found stamping to unwind.  Tonight I chose to go to my studio and played Adele Full blast.  Tony must have felt the walls shaking. Boy! it felt Soooooo Good!  I really let myself go and created an over the top card!   I hope you enjoy it, I surely enjoyed letting myself go!  Now just wondering, who to give this card to, any ideas?

I love the crisp image of the flower in the Creative Elements stamp set.  This is a must stamp set that you need to add to your wish list.  Also good scissors are needed to cut the flowers out and Stampin'up! Paper snips are simply amazing.  I'll post the products used in case you want to create my over the top card or maybe a simple version of it.  It's Thursday which means it's my last day of work for the week, I get to stamp all day Friday which makes me happy.

Kim, as a former nursing co-odinator for Comcare I totally hear where your stress level is as you deal with the families on a regular basis.  Those were my days before I was blessed to be a SAHM and a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  That being said I thing your creativity level beat out your stress last night (with a little help from Adele!!). Amazing card TFS.

This card is awesome!  If you can't find anyone to give it to then…how about me?

I love this card – the punch of orange colour really makes it!  Now I have to add this stamp set to my wish list!
How did you do the top-note looking side edge on the card front?
